RSS (Really Simple Syndication) provides a way for internet users to keep up with new additions to any number of web pages without having to click from site to site.
A program known as a feed reader or aggregator can check RSS-enabled web pages on behalf of a user and display any updated articles that it finds. It is now common to find RSS feeds on major web sites, as well as many smaller ones.

Before you can read our news feed - or any RSS feed on the net - you will require a "feed reader" (also called news reader, or news/feed aggregator). This program will check for updates on your behalf and display any new articles it finds.
